Who ya gonna call? ghostbusters!! - Ghostbusters Reviews

When there's something strange in the neighborhood, an invisible man sleeping in your bed, a fat green blob raiding your refrigerator, who gonna call? Ghostbusters! The story centers around three paranormal psychologists at Columbia Univerisity, who are terminated by the Dean due to poor scientific efforts. Using their scientific research they figure out capture and containing a ghost, this prompts them into opening a ghost removal service calling themselves Ghostbusters. Their first customer is a musician (Played by Sigourney Weaver) who encountered a strange phenonmenon in her apartment. There is some interesting chemistry between her and Bill Murray. The ghost-busting business goes well making the scientists celebrities among the nation. They manage to recruit a fourth member to business; a blue-collar worker played by Ernie Hudson. It isn't long before the musician is attacked and possessed by an evil spirit who has big plans in raising hell on Earth. Its up to the Ghostbusters to stop this evil and save the world. This is perhaps my most favorite beloved film that I have grown up with. The acting is well played by the cast, especially by Bill Murrary, Dan Aykryod, and Harold Ramis. I laughed at most of the great moments in this film; such as the ghost in the library scene, the Slimer chase scene, and the finale on top of the central apartment building. Best of all, the soundtrack is memorable including the unforgetable Ghostbusters theme by Ray Parker, Jr. This film is recommended for people of all ages, and will always be the milestone in comedy. This film is not only a high rent pick, but is a must own to anyone's video library. You will laugh and howl at this spooktacular comedy! Go Ghostbusters!
